(CM--7b) A shopping level of Warorot Market also known as Kad Luang in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Situated only 2 minutes walk north from the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and sitting beside the Ping River the Warorot Market is a busy hive of daytime activity. Warorot Market opens daily early in the morning and closes after dark. Go by foot, pedicab, Tuk-Tuk or Songtheaw as it is nearly impossible to get a park there unless you have a motor bike. Warorot Market is one of the places where lots of Thai locals do their own shopping, so expect to find the same or similar goods that you see at other Markets also sold here but cheaper and usually of better quality. A lot of goods here that one will not find in the tourist Markets like the Night Bazaar. Warorot Market has almost everything such as fresh and dried fruit, vegetables, flowers, butchery, bakery items, herbs, condiments, clothings, shoes, cosmetics, jewellery, lacquerware and many more. Food stalls are in abundance too.
