St Mary’s Passage in University of Oxford, UK. Brasenose College was established in 1509 for the study of sophistry, logic, philosophy and theology. Brasenose College is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1509, with the College library and current chapel added in the mid-seventeenth century. The University Church of St Mary the Virgin is the largest of Oxford's parish churches and the centre from which the University of Oxford grew. It is situated on the north side of the High Street, and is surrounded by university and college buildings.
